First lets start by explaining what a niche is
A niche market is simply a highly segmented group of people with very similar interests. Your tribe is another name Iv heard it called. People who have a problem you or your products can solve.
If you are a traditional network marketer it might be hard to wrap your mind around the idea of focusing on a niche market. It’s because all of your training has been centered around the myth that “everyone is your target market”, your product or service is “irresistible” and everybody wants it. If you really think this you are so so wrong.. People are individuals with different desires and dreams. Once you embrace the common sense of this truth, you will be more open to the idea of focusing on an niche market.
So how do you find out what niche you want to get into ?
Am going to give you some points to go through, by the end of it you should know who your niche is..
- Identify your hobbies and interests This may be something you’ve already done. But, if you haven’t, make a list of 10 topical interests and passion areas… Really think , is it health and wellness? dog walking? speaking to people? What are you passionate about? Why did you pick the company your with?
- Identify problems you can solve. With your list of 10 topics in hand, you’re ready to start narrowing down your options. To create a business you first need to find problems your target customers are experiencing, Remember your a soloution to their problems. Find out how you van actually help people instead of just trying to make a sale. Speak to them, see how they feel. Let them talk and you listen. . Make sure to find or create a framework for asking questions that helps you uncover pain points.
- Research your competition. Write down all of the competing sites you can find, google them , see how many you can find. Really do your reseach. Find a way you can stand out and make yourself different from your competetors. Why would your niche choose you and not them ? If your competition is not creating high quality , detailed content that serves their niche ( audience) then an opportunity definitely exists for you to upset the market.
- Determine the profitability of your niche. You should now have a pretty good idea of what niche you’re going to get into. You maybe havent got your list down to one yet but you definetly will have found a few ideas you feel pretty good about. Will your niche be interested in your products? what commissions will you recieve? but really look at what you need to sell to recieve a decent pay.

Know What You’re Not Good At.
Now, take this advice, and put it all together to identify your ideal niche.
Ask yourself: What could you be doing more of in your career that aligns with your values, passions, and strengths? Is there something you’re great at—something you could do in your own style?
If so, that’s your niche. And it’s what’s likely to make you happier in your career than anything else. So before you take your next step up the corporate ladder just make sure you really research your company and upline you are chosing to be with..
